THE SMALL PRINT
Plain-English privacy information and the terms we trade on. Nothing here is deliberately long-winded.
Vector Machine Worx is a sole trader business based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, providing CNC routing, CNC laser cutting, additive manufacturing, CADCAM and product design services — physical work across the UK, design work worldwide.
Enquiries are made by email to vectormachineworx@gmail.com and bookings through our Google appointment page.
This website does not use cookies for tracking or analytics and does not collect or store personal data itself. When you contact us by email or book a slot through our Google appointment page, we receive the details you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number and a few words about your job.
Your details are used only to reply to your enquiry, quote for work, and carry out the job you ask us to do. They are not sold, shared or used for marketing lists.
Bookings are handled by Google Calendar, which operates under Google’s own privacy policy. Emails are handled by our email provider. No other third parties receive your information from us.
You can ask us at any time to confirm what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — just email vectormachineworx@gmail.com. We keep enquiry emails only for as long as they are useful for your project and our records.
Quotes are given in writing by email, are free of charge, and are valid for 30 days. The quoted price covers the work and materials described in the quote; anything outside that description is quoted separately.
For most jobs we ask for a deposit before work starts and the balance on completion. Payment terms are confirmed in your quote. Larger jobs may be invoiced in stages.
Once a job is paid in full, the finished parts are yours. We keep our own copies of design and manufacturing files unless we agree otherwise in writing; underlying designs you supply remain your property, and designs we create remain ours until paid for.
You can cancel or change a job any time before production starts at no cost; once materials are ordered or work is underway, we charge for what has been done and any materials already bought.
We take care with every job and stand behind our work. Our liability is limited to the value of the job in question; we are not liable for indirect losses or for how finished parts are used after delivery.
These terms apply to work we do for individuals and businesses in the UK. If anything here needs clarifying before you commit to a job, just ask — we would rather explain up front than surprise you later.
